EDUC 6620 - Teaching Modern English Grammar to English Language Learners

Credit Hours 3
Dual Listed: EDUC 4062.
Prerequisite: Transition 2  
Description: This course is designed to allow students to become familiar with various techniques of teaching grammar to non-native English speakers. Specific areas covered include grammatical terminology, identifying and labeling sentence structures, and developing understandings of the ways English syntax conveys meaning. A ten-hour field placement is required.
