Description: This course provides the historical overview and implications of diversity associated with child maltreatment. Emphasis is placed on the contributing factors and types of child abuse and neglect; practitioners’ legal responsibilities; the development of skills related to investigation, assessment and case management; and knowledge and skills in related treatment and prevention approaches.
