SW 6520 - Addiction Medicines (effective Spring 2022)

Description: This Addiction Medicine course will cover the philosophies and theories related to the causes and comorbidities of addiction, evidence-based assessment and intervention in addiction medicine, and micro/mezzo/macro evaluation of service delivery in this field of practice. Interwoven into this course will be practical activities designed to enhance the application of knowledge and skills in ethics, diversity, social justice, policy practice, and interprofessional collaboration in addiction medicine.
