AET 1360 - Automotive Power Train Systems

Prerequisite: MATH 1010  or MATH 1530  or ENGT 1200  or EET 1120 
Principles and function of conventional automotive power train systems: clutches, manual transmissions, fluid couplings and torque converters, automatic transmissions, power transfer coupling devices, differentials, and axles. Basic dynamics of power transmission. Routine maintenance, testing, diagnosing problems, repairs and adjustments.
