Nurse Educator Concentration

The Nurse Educator (NE) concentration prepares graduates to shape the future of nursing by teaching the next generation of nurses and advancing education in healthcare organizations. Graduates gain the knowledge and skills to design, implement, and evaluate curricula; apply innovative teaching and learning strategies; and integrate technology into education. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based, person-centered approaches that support student success, professional development, and improved patient outcomes. Nurse Educators are prepared for faculty roles in colleges and universities as well as for leading staff development and patient education across health-related settings. university programs have additional requirements and information included in the Program Handbook.
