The Team Leadership Certificate is designed for emerging and established leaders seeking to develop essential skills for effectively leading teams across various organizational contexts. This collaborative program combines theory from two graduate degrees - the Master of Science in Health and Human Performance: Performance Enhancement and Coaching (PEaC) and the Master of Science Leadership (MSL)) - equipping participants with strategies to inspire performance, navigate team dynamics, and drive organizational success.

Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Graduates will demonstrate interdisciplinary competence in leading and developing teams across sport, wellness, and organization seetings
- Graduates will integrate interdisciplinary theories of leadership, performance, and motivation to analyze and enhance individual and team effectiveness, and organizational contexts.
- Graduates will apply evidence-based coaching and feedback strategies to foster optimal performance, resilience, and growth in diverse team environments.
- Graduates will demonstrate ethical and values-based leadership through effective decision making, power awareness, and conflict management in complex, real-world settings.
- Graduates will be able to design and implement collaborative initiatives or ventures that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and positive community or organizational impact.
- Graduates will be able to assess and develop team leadership competencies through reflection, self-assessment, and application of leadership models that strengthen cohesion, communication, and shared purpose.
