Prerequisite: MUS 1057 , 1155 ;
Corequisite: MUS 2055 ;
Description: Study of harmony and voice leading; basic chromatic harmony; 16th and 18th century counterpoint; 18th century form and analysis; development of analytical and compositional skills. Continued development of reading and hearing skills. MUS 2055 and MUS 2155 must be taken sequentially.
