NURS 3390 - Nursing Assessment for RNs

Prerequisite: Admission to the BSN completion track plus RN licensure;
Corequisite: NURS 3391  
Pre/Corequisite NURS 3300  
Description: Prepares the student to perform holistic nursing assessment and physical examination. Inter-professional communication and collaboration is emphasized. The student is expected to assess and respect sociological, cultural, spiritual, financial, and technical variances as they relate to individual clients. The student is expected to conduct assessments of patients with professionalism and professional values. The course and the lab are taken in the same semester.
