The College of Behavioral and Health Sciences is committed to academic endeavors and community outreach based on empirical research and evidence-based practice that is designed to educate students and the community about the human condition and ways to improve it.
The College is the academic home for undergraduate majors in criminal justice, health and human performance, kinesiology, military sciences, nursing, political science and public management, psychological sciences and counseling, social work, and sociology. The College also offers a doctorate degree in psychology and master degrees in criminal justice, health and human performance, leadership and organization administration, industrial-organizational psychology, counseling, nursing, and social work. The College also has specialty master degrees in healthcare administration and speech-language pathology. Minors are available in coaching, criminal justice, environmental studies, family studies, health, homeland security, international relations, leadership science, military science, occupational health psychology, organizational forensics, physical education, political science, psychological science, public management, recreation, and sociology.
