Prerequisite: BIOL GPA of at least 2.0; BIOL 1120 and BIOL 1121 with a grade of “C” or better; One 3000 - 4999 level BIOL course with a grade of “C” or better; Completion of the INternship Proposal; Permission of Instructor
Description: The foal of this class is to provide students with a practical experience in the biological sciences to help them gain job experience, knowledge, and broaden their professional contacts. The student is responsible for securing the internship with the individual agency or company with whom they will work. The student is expected to work 3 hours/week for each credit. The internship may be paid or unpaid.
