PSYC 4050 - Introduction to Applied Psychopharmacology Credit Hours 3 Prerequisite: PSYC 1030 with a grade of “C” or higher or permission of instructor Description: An introduction to psychopharmacology that will examine prescription, legal and illegal drug effects on the brain and behavior, including withdrawal and abuse. Clinical, legal, and ethical aspects will also be discussed. A NIH grant proposal will also be taught and evaluated.
