SCI 4020 - Science Pedagogy

Prerequisite: Transition 2  
Description: Teacher candidates will engage in activities to cultivate the pedagogical mindset necessary for effective, constructivist, instructional strategies in the science classroom (K-12). Candidates will develop Learning Segments (Units of Study) and specific inquiry-based lesson activities for the Grade Bands (K-2, 3-5, 6-8 science, or 9-12 sciences) in which they plan to teach. Classes will include lecture, lab, and outdoor field experiences.
