LIBR 2001 - Empowering Information Seekers in the Digital Age

Description: This course is designed to introduce students to strategies and skills needed to become savvy information consumers and creators by exploring the multifaceted nature of information in the digital age. Students will develop a deeper understanding of how to identify, evaluate, and ethically use information from a wide range of sources, including databases, scholarly journals, websites, and social media platforms. This course will also explore the ethical and legal considerations related to information use, including copyright, plagiarism, and privacy issues. There are no prerequisites for this course, and all majors are encouraged to enroll.
