Information Specialist Concentration B.A.

The Information Specialist concentration in Mass Communication is offered completely online, and is intended for students seeking information careers in the public or private sectors. Information careers include work for the U.S. Information Agency as information specialists and in the U.S. Military services as public affairs’ officers. Tennessee and other state and municipal government information-based services such as tourism and economic development; and the promotion and publicity functions within nonprofit agencies, chambers of commerce, and general organizations are interested in the training provided by this concentration.
