The minor in Classical Languages is well-suited for students who are interested in participating in intensive study in the Ancient Greek and Latin languages. The curriculum provides a general grounding in either Ancient Greek or Latin with options for taking courses in Classical literature, culture, and archaeology. This minor also offers students the change to participate in the Ancient Mediterranean Club, be initiated in Eta Simga Phi, the national Classical Studies honorary organization, and publish in the Austin Peay’s own Philomathes: An Online Journal for Undergraduate Research in Classics.
