Collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data are indispensable skills across modern industries. The applied statistics minor provides these through a foundation in statistical modeling and inference, and provides valuable tools to complement any college major. The minor prepares students for graduate studies in statistics, data science, or other applied fields where data analysis plays an important role.
