The Minor in Greek is well-suited for students who are interested in attaining a background the Ancient Greek civilization from multiple angles. The curriculum provides a general grounding in the Ancient Greek language with options for taking courses in Classical literature, culture, and archaeology. This minor also offers students the chance to participate in the Ancient Mediterranean Club, be initiated in Eta Sigma Phi, the national Classical Studies honorary organization, and publish in Austin Peay’s own Philomathes: An Online Journal for Undergraduate Research in Classics.
