The Medical Laboratory Science concentration is for students who are seeking a bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science that never been certified as an MLT or MLS. This concentration provides specific courses in immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, toxicology, urinalysis, hematology, hemostasis, management, research, and education. Students completing the MLS degree program are eligible to take a national certification examination in Medical Laboratory Science.
