UNIV 2100 - University Success: Preparing for the World of Work Credit Hours 2 Prerequisite: UNIV 1000 Description: This course is designed to help students understand the connection between academic programs and careers as well as understand the soft skills needed for any career. The activities and assignments are designed to facilitate mapping academic majors to career choices, and to expand understanding of the relationship between education and the world of work. Emphasis will be placed on self-awareness, career exploration, self-marketing techniques, and development of job/internship search skills and post-graduate opportunities. This course supports the university’s overall mission to prepare students for successful careers and post-graduate opportunities
