The Geology Minor is useful to all students interested in broadening their knowledge of minerals, rocks, fossils, soil and water pollution, climatic processes, natural disaster forecasting, landform development, and the history of the Earth. It is an important addition to many majors at APSU, in particular, to Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Education, Geography, and the humanities. The minor may be customized for the student’s interests, including: environmental studies, earth materials and resources, paleontology, and ground and surface water issues.
