The Professional Education Minor for PK-3 and K-5 Education prepares students for teaching in grades PK-3 and K-5. Successful completion of clinical practice (with seminar) and Tennessee-mandated licensure examinations leads to teaching licensure for the grade levels selected. Testing requirements, electronic portfolio development, and other prerequisites for admission to Teacher Education will require consultation with an education advisor.
