K-5 Licensure Program Concentration

Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Majors, Concentrations & Minors

The K-5 concentration prepares teaching candidates to earn an Education degree and a TN teaching license for teaching positions in kindergarten to 5th grade. Options in this concentration provide variation in the curriculum for the College of Education Grow-Your-Own (GYO) candidates due to their job placements in our partnering school districts and additional special education certification. These options include courses to support the candidates endorsement in Special Education instruction, along with their license in teaching kindergarten through 5th grade.
